Colchester Coffee Morning

Our Colchester coffee morning is on the first Tuesday of each month 10am-12noon.  If you, or a member of your family is visually impaired, or if you are a carer for someone with sight loss, then come along for a chat and enjoy a coffee or tea.

Location: Level Best Cafe, 26 St John’s Street, Colchester CO2 7HB.

First tea or coffee is free.

Note: there is no longer a coffee morning at the Quaker Meeting House.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.

Employment Training Opportunity

Support 4 Sight, the visual impairment charity covering  West Essex, is running a County wide National Lottery funded employment project to help blind and partially sighted people with all aspects of employment.

Their support can range from completing an application form, writing a cv or improving interview skills, as well as offering support to those who are already in work but experiencing difficulties due to their sight loss.
The support is tailored to the individual`s needs and can be delivered either 1 on 1 or in group settings. In addition, Support 4 Sight also offers digital training to those who need assistance.
